Penround in ChatGPT
Penround is a ChatGPT plugin for group cards. Coworkers, classmates or family sign on a web page without ChatGPT, you approve every message in ChatGPT, and the card reaches the recipient by email or link at the time you set. An optional printed keepsake book ships in the US and Canada.
Available in ChatGPT soon
What you can ask
- “Start a farewell card for Ayşe that the whole team can sign by Friday”
- “Make a birthday card for Dad that all the cousins can add a message to”
- “Start a thank-you card from the class parents for Ms. Lee before winter break”
- “Who has signed so far?”
- “Email the card to her tomorrow at 9am, her time in London”
- “Can I get these messages as a printed book?”
How to use it
- Add Penround to ChatGPT. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, search for Penround and add it, or mention Penround in a chat.
- Start the card. Say who it is for, the occasion and when signing closes. ChatGPT gives you a sign link.
- Share the sign link. Ask ChatGPT to draft an invite for Slack, Teams or WhatsApp. People sign in any browser, without an account.
- Approve the messages. Ask who has signed. Approve or hide each message; the card view shows the text and photos.
- Send it. Say when the card should arrive. It goes out by email or as a link at that time in the recipient’s time zone.
What Penround does and doesn’t do
- It makes group cards that several people sign. For a card only you write, or a card image, just ask ChatGPT.
- ChatGPT sees signers’ names and numbers, never their messages or photos; those appear only in the card view.
- It never asks for the recipient’s email in chat: you type it into the card’s own form.
- It is not an e-signature tool.
The printed book
$39 for up to 45 messages, with standard US shipping included; $49 or $59 for longer books. You pay on penround.ambientapp.ai; nothing is charged in ChatGPT.
Questions
Do the people signing need ChatGPT or an account?
No. You share a link; anyone can open it in a browser and leave a message and, if they like, a photo. They never see each other’s messages.
Who decides what goes on the card?
You do. Every message waits for your OK in ChatGPT before the recipient can see it, and anything our checks flag is held for you to look at first.
How does the recipient get the card?
By email at the time you choose, in their own time zone, or as a private link you send yourself. The card opens as a page with every approved message and photo.
What is the printed keepsake book?
An optional 8.5 × 8.5 inch hardcover with one message per page, the photos beside them and a page of everyone who signed. It is printed and shipped to the US or Canada.
What does it cost?
Starting, signing and sending a card in ChatGPT has no charge. The printed book is optional, and you pay for it on penround.ambientapp.ai, never in ChatGPT.
What happens to the messages?
They are used only for the card and, if you order it, the book. We delete them 12 months after the card is sent. See the privacy policy for the details.
