Signing a card

Do I need an account or ChatGPT to sign?

No. Open the sign link in any browser, write your message and, if you like, add a photo.

Can I change or delete my message?

Yes, until the card is sent. Use the link shown after you signed; it is also kept in the browser you signed from. A changed message waits for the organizer's OK again.

Why was my message refused?

Cards may be read by people of all ages, so messages with offensive words are refused. Please rephrase it.

Who will see my photo?

Only the organizer and the person the card is for, and the book if the organizer orders one. Other signers never see messages or photos.

Running a card

How do I see who has signed?

Ask ChatGPT "Who has signed?" The card view shows every message and photo; approve or hide each one there or by asking ChatGPT.

Why is a message "held"?

Our checks flagged it. Open the card view and tap "Show message" to read it; then approve it with "Approve anyway", or hide it.

Why is a message "blocked"?

Our checks found sexual content, graphic violence or self-harm instructions in it. A blocked message or photo can't go on any card, so the card view doesn't show it and it can't be approved; you can only hide it. The signer can change it with their own link.

How does the card get delivered?

Tell ChatGPT when, for example "Email it to her tomorrow at 9am". Type the recipient's email into the card's own form, not into the chat. You can also send it as a private link instead.

The email bounced

Check the address in the card's delivery form and schedule it again, or send the card as a link.

Keepsake books

Where is my book?

Open the order link in your confirmation email to see whether it is printing or on its way, with tracking once it ships. In ChatGPT you can also ask "Where is my book?"

My book arrived damaged or misprinted

Email us a photo within 30 days of delivery. We will print and send a new copy free, or refund that copy.

How many messages do I need?

At least 3 approved messages, and up to 150 in one book.

For recipients

I don't want cards from Penround

Use "Don't send me cards from Penround" at the bottom of the email. We won't email that address again. If you change your mind, email us and we will take the address off the list.

A message on my card is upsetting

Use the Report link under it. Reports you make from your own card hide the message at once.

Your data

How do I delete a card?

Ask ChatGPT to delete the card, or email us. Files are erased within 24 hours. See the privacy policy for details.
